How do you cook your corned beef & Cabbage for St. Patrick’s day?

I do the Corned beef in the crock pot with potatoes and then I cook the cabbage separately, usually I season and sautee it. Soggy cabbage is so yucky!

So.. How do you do it?

I do it by avioding unecessary trips to the A&E (Partner has fight with corned beef tin other night ending up in gashed thumb.)
Everything otherwise, I do it the same as you, oh I sometimes add carrots.
